Content standards and responsible use of Image to Layers AI.
2026/11/02
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of Image to Layers AI, including uploaded images, prompts and instructions, generated layers, exported compositions, and related account activity. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
You must not upload, request, create, edit, or distribute any of the following through the service:
We have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation, terrorism or violent extremism, assistance with mass violence or weapons of mass destruction, incitement to genocide, and the prohibited real-person deepfakes described above. Serious violations may result in immediate restrictions and referral to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
Only upload material that you own or are authorized to use. For images of real people, upload your own image or obtain the explicit permission of the people depicted and any other permissions required for your intended use. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, and likeness rights.
Permission to use a person's image does not permit prohibited deepfakes or any other content banned by this policy. You remain responsible for checking your rights and reviewing the output before using or sharing it.
Uploaded images are checked using SeeAPI's content safety service before generation. Images that fail this check are blocked; if the check is unavailable or does not complete successfully, generation does not proceed. Generation requests to fal.ai also enable the provider's safety checker.
These checks have limits and do not establish that content is lawful, authorized, or compliant with every rule in this policy. Passing a check is not permission for a prohibited use. We manually investigate reports using the information provided and relevant account or task records, and may request further details.
Send reports to support@imagetolayers.ai. Include the relevant account email or task identifier if known, a description of the concern, and available references that help us locate it. You may report prohibited content, harmful behavior, impersonation, or infringement of your rights.
Do not attach or redistribute illegal imagery, especially child sexual abuse material. Provide identifying information instead. We limit disclosure of report information to what is needed to investigate, respond, or meet legal obligations. Reports are assessed on their merits; deliberately false or abusive reports may themselves lead to action.
We assess the severity of each report, prioritize child safety and other serious threats, investigate, and decide on appropriate action. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we notify the affected account and the reporter of the outcome. We may request more information if a case cannot be resolved from the initial report.
Depending on the severity and recurrence of a violation, we may issue a warning, block a request, restrict access to content, suspend an account, or terminate access to the service. Serious violations may require immediate action without a prior warning. We may preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
If you believe a restriction or decision was made in error, email support@imagetolayers.ai with your account email, the relevant task or notice, and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the decision and any additional information, and communicate the outcome by email.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. For questions about safety, reports, or appeals, contact support@imagetolayers.ai. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
